Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actor. In 1983, following her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames 1982 and The Breakfast Club '85 she was well-known as a part of this group. The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Sheedy is an American actress, and author. She started her career in acting by appearing in the crime movie Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn and Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Following her first film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Although the budget for this movie was just $1 million, it grossed more than $50 millions. Additionally, she began participating in various television shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her television debut. The show was designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other TV shows where she appeared. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy is the recipient of numerous awards for her stellar performances among them an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
